There are so many great places in the city that often I overlook some of them in heavy tourist zones, like this one for example. Casa Guinart is quite well known with its top notch location at the La Boqueria market off the Ramblas, one of the most dreaded streets for locals, and understandably. This is one of the reasons I’ve avoided it for the longest of times. On Sundays the market is closed so I figured it’s a good time to check it out as it will be more calm in the surroundings and of course no market foot traffic. I have to say it was definitely worth the trip. There are so many tapas places in the city so why choose one over the other? I can recommend this one for it’s price and quality. On a busy Sunday we were lucky enough to get a seat on the terrace and without the busy foot traffic of the market, it was actually an enjoyable experience. Would I go back? Maybe on another Sunday.
